Abu Al Sayayif MPA

Bu Al-Sayaif Marine Reserve The Bu Al-Sayaif Marine Reserve is one of the most important natural reserves located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It contains many natural features such as mangroves, salt marshes, seaweed beds and more than 50 species of birds. Performing shows, there is also the pink-legged bird, as the reserve hosts more than 1,500 breeding pairs and small flamingos.

Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital

The Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital is the world’s first and largest hospital dedicated to the falcon, the UAE’s national bird. Since opening its doors in 1999, under the direction of a prominent German veterinary surgeon, the unique hospital sees about 6,000 birds passing through its doors each year, occupying 200 air-conditioned treatment rooms. Abu Dhabi History Museum and Aquarium

Al Hudayriat Island

Al Jahili Fort

Al Jahili is one of the largest forts in the UAE, built in the 1890s on the orders of Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, also known as Zayed the First, as the home to members of the ruling Al Nahyan family. Built of sun-dried mud brick, early restoration work was done on the fort in 1985, followed by a major rehabilitation project by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi between 2007 and 2008. Surrounded by a lush park, the enchanting fort has received the prestigious Terra Award for Internal Design and Layout in 2016. Transformed into a cultural centre and tourist attraction, it now houses a temporary exhibition gallery as well as a permanent exhibition devoted to Sir Wilfred Thesiger. He was an intrepid explorer, travel writer and photographer who, with his Emirati and Omani companions, crossed the world's largest sand mass, the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali), twice in the 1940s.

AlMaqta'a Fort

Maqtaa Fort, or as it is known as Maqtaa Tower, is one of the oldest historical buildings in Abu Dhabi. It was built in the late 18th century over a low bridge connecting Abu Dhabi Island and the mainland. Al Maqtaa Bridge Fort is the economic gateway to Abu Dhabi Island, through which you can access Maqtaa Road and the Customs Department, as well as Al Maqtaa Bridge and Sheikh Zayed Bridge.

Al Reem Island

The palace obtained a certificate in 1931 confirming that it is one of the best palaces built in the Italian architectural style outside Italy by Italian hands, signed by the dictator Mussolini in Italy.

Bani Hashim Mosque

The Bani Hashem Mosque in Abu Dhabi is distinguished by its design, which simulates the design of the Dome of the Rock Mosque in Al-Quds Al-Sharif, which is considered a unique monument in the history of Islamic architecture. The Bani Hashem Mosque was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi in 2010. Capital Park

A range of fun events and activities are available on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, and it has been awarded the “Blue Flag” certificate, which is concerned with environmental quality.

Dalma Island

Dalma Island, it is located in the northwestern part of Sir Bani Yas Island, and it is one of the desert islands in Abu Dhabi, as it was distinguished more than 7,000 years ago as being the most pearl-rich area in the Arabian Gulf. Emirates Auto National Museum

The unique collection of vehicles at the Emirates National Auto Museum is unmissable for any car lover visiting Abu Dhabi. The pyramid-shaped car museum is located in Al Dhafra, just a 45-minute drive from Abu Dhabi city, and is home to over 200 cars owned by His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan. There are plenty of photo opportunities even before you step into the museum, like the retired passenger jet and world’s largest model jeep parked outside. Inside the museum, you’ll find a collection of off-road vehicles, classic American cars and the Sheikh's Mercedes rainbow collection. Fans of the BBC television programme Top Gear will notice some familiar cars too.

Etihad Towers

Etihad Towers is a remarkable engineering landmark located on the Abu Dhabi Corniche and consists of five towers. It also receives residents and travelers and is an ideal destination for living, working, staying, shopping and eating delicious food amid panoramic views of the city and the Arabian Gulf. The towers were completed in November 2010.

Etihad Towers Observation Deck

Khalifa Park

Khalifa Park Park is one of the most important and famous tourist parks. Khalifa Park Abu Dhabi is a unique historical park that includes a large library. It also includes museums such as the Maritime Museum and the “Abu Dhabi Story Through Time” museum, in addition to recreational games, swimming pools and waterfalls. There is a large fountain and 23 illuminated fountains and the many recreational facilities in the garden.

Louvre Abu Dhabi

The Louvre Abu Dhabi was inaugurated in 2017. The result of an unprecedented partnership between France and the United Arab Emirates, it is France’s largest cultural project abroad and the first universal museum in the Arab world. It brings the Louvre name to Abu Dhabi and presents both ancient and contemporary works of historic, cultural and sociological interest from around the world. There are three cornerstones to its success: its spectacular architecture, the richness of its permanent collection (thanks to loans from the Louvre and other French museums), and the quality of its temporary exhibitions. The museum’s permanent collection comprises some 700 artworks and groups of artworks from every period and civilisation (from prehistoric times to the present day). Another 300 works are loans from partner museums (the Louvre lends 100 different masterpieces every year).

Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre

Madinat Zayed Shopping Center is one of the largest shopping places in Abu Dhabi, as it extends over a very wide area, and includes hundreds of various stores that sell all products, The most important characteristic of this complex is the presence of many shops specialized in selling gold, diamond and pearl jewelry, and it is one of the most important gold markets in the Arabian Gulf.

Manarat Al Saadiyat

Manarat Al Saadiyat opened as an exhibition center in 2009. The Lighthouse Center houses a photography studio, art studio and three galleries dedicated to temporary exhibitions. A large outdoor arena for events and occasions, a cafe and restaurant, an auditorium with a capacity of about 250 seats, and a theater with a capacity of 100 seats. Manarat Al Saadiyat is located in the Saadiyat Cultural District.

Marina Eye

It is considered one of the best entertainment places in Abu Dhabi. It is a huge rotating wheel and enjoys an important strategic location that dominates the horizon in front of one of the favorite shopping centers in the capital (Marina Mall). It includes cabins, each cabin accommodating 8 people of different ages. The Marina Eye Abu Dhabi also contains 42 cabins, including the VIP capsule, which is equipped with the latest equipment.

Marina Mall

Marina Mall is a shopping mall and entertainment venue in Abu Dhabi, which opened on March 28, 2001. The mall is located along the breakwater on Corniche Road near the Emirates Palace Hotel. Marina Mall was ranked by Forbes as one of the best shopping malls in Abu Dhabi, in January 2017. It features 122,000 square meters of retail space that houses a unique collection of fashion, leisure and entertainment brands spread over four floors.

Mary the Mother of Jesus Mosque

Maryam Umm Issa Mosque is a mosque located in the central Al-Mushrif area of the city of Abu Dhabi. It was built in 1989 and named after Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. On June 14, 2017, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan decided to change the name of the mosque to “Maryam Umm Issa Mosque.” The change came as an initiative that embodies the values of interfaith coexistence in the Emirates.

Nurai Island

Qasr Al-Hosn

Qasr Al Hosn is the oldest and most significant building in Abu Dhabi, holding the city's first permanent structure; the watchtower. Built in the 1790, the commanding structure overlooked the coastal trade routes and protected the growing settlement established on the island. Qasr Al Hosn comprises of two major iconic buildings: the Inner Fort (originally constructed in 1795) and the Outer Palace (1939-45). Over the centuries, it has been home to the ruling family, the seat of government, a consultative council and a national archive; it now stands as the nation's living memorial and the narrator of Abu Dhabi's history. Transformed into a museum in 2018 following more than eleven years of intensive conservation and restoration work, Qasr Al Hosn is a national monument that encapsulates the development of Abu Dhabi from a settlement reliant on fishing and pearling in the 18th century, to a modern, global metropolis, with displays of artefacts and archival materials dating back to as far as 6000 BC.

Qasr al-Sarab Reserve

Qasr Al Sarab Reserve is a nature reserve in the heart of the Liwa Desert in the United Arab Emirates, with an area of 308 square kilometers of natural sand dunes and salt flats. There are more than 30 species of birds, 13 species of reptiles and 10 species of mammals, in addition to the presence of the Arabian Oryx, which the Environment Agency in Abu Dhabi is keen to provide all means of protection for it from extinction.

Sheikh Zayed Bridge

Sheikh Zayed Bridge is an arch bridge in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and it is one of the works of the architect Zaha Hadid. It was named after the founder of the country, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and the length of the bridge is 842 meters. And its height is 64 meters. Its curved arches mimic the shapes of undulating sand dunes, and it features dynamic lighting with soft colors sweeping across its frame. Its tracks hang from identical steel arches, forming the appearance of a flowing wave.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one the world’s largest mosques and a massive architectural work of art that intentionally blends different Islamic architectural schools. It features 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, 24-carat-gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand-knotted carpet. The main prayer hall is dominated by one of the world’s largest chandeliers. The late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan built this mosque to convey historic consequence and to embody the Islamic message of peace, tolerance and diversity. He intended that the Grand Mosque be a living reference of modern Islamic architecture that links the past with the present and creates a place of Islamic science and learning that would reflect genuine Islamic values.

Sir Bani Yas Island

St. Joseph's Cathedral - Abu Dhabi

St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Abu Dhabi is a church located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The church was built in 1962 on a corniche located on a plot of land donated by Sheikh Shakhbut, the ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi at the time.
